I've been after a new knitting bag for the past couple days, and the ones in my price range are either so flowery they could be cosmetic bags, or just plain BUTT UGLY. I wanted something that was both cheap AND hip. So, I went on Ebay and bought this bag off someone in Thailand. If I actually receive it, I'll consider it a plus.
Now I'll bet dollars to donuts that NOBODY in my town of uber-hip knitters will have a project tote bag quite like this! I figure that by the amount of public knitting I do, in waiting rooms, on trains, etc., I stick out anyway, so I might as well go balls-to-the-wall.

That is awesome!
I am so with you. I am a knitting bag junkie. Not so much of the expensive flowery ones, but I have several clear plastic ones with advertisments for local knit stores. One of my favorites was a giveaway at one of my LYS's that is a large canvas one, and it must have 10 pockets on the outside of it. It's awesome. I only had to spend $ 200.00 in one transaction to get it, too. lol I LOVE your new bag. I think it rocks!
I love it! The kids and I all love Pocky Sticks so we're all drooling over it.
Oh, mighty Pocky! My Pigs would attack you on the street if they saw you! They love that stuff, they wouldn't believe you that it didn't have candy in it!
Your bag totally rocks! I went searching for knitting bags, and it's become a habit. One of the way cool places I've found them is Hobby Lobby (or any crafts store). Check out the "canvas crafts" section. Sometimes they have really cool canvas bags that you can decorate yourself, at next to nothing prices (the most I've paid has been $10). I also score a bag any time I find someone giving them away - for whatever cause, charity or business. It's so much fun to see the look on people's faces when you grab your knitting out of a USDA Graduate School bag.
Love the bag! So cute!
I love POCKY! Yummy and a great bag too!
Very cool bag!!! I've seen really small versions of these but not large enough to make a knitting tote. ;-)
